It is highly addictive, and widely used in the UK due to effect on the mesolimbic reward pathway. Cocaine addiction is massive in the UK. Even in the young people. It is reported that 400,000 people under 25 years old are using Cocaine regally, and 1 in 7, 15 to 35 year olds us use regally. 

The main slag name for Cocaine is Charlie, or Coke. There are many other names but this are the main ones. Here are a few others. Snow, hence the colour etc, Chang, Ching, Sniff, and Snarf. But as I say Charlie and Coke is the most commonly used names.
